MIPI I3C

MIPI I3C

Learn about MIPI I3C Alliance Standard

This webinar will provide a discussion of a new a standard from the MIPI Alliance – I3C. It unifies and extends the legacy interfaces of I2C and SPI and adds new powerful features to support modern mobile, automotive, and IOT applications. I3C products from Silvaco provides customers with a range of products that allow customers to take advantage of the higher performance and lower power features that come with I3C.

Typical application of the I3C interface are in the following fields

  • Mechanical sensing (Gyroscopes, MEMS, etc.)
  • Environmental sensing (Light, pressure, temperature, humidity, etc.)
  • Biometrics (Fingerprinting, glucose, heart rate, breathalyzer, etc.)
  • Communication (Near-field sensors, infrared remotes, etc.)

What attendees will learn:

  • Highlights of MIPI I3C interface.
  • Silvaco’s products offering in the I3C family
    • Dual Role Master
    • Advanced Slave
    • Autonomous Slave
  • I3C features
    • Legacy I2C coexistence, including I2C messaging
    • Multi-Master environment
    • Hot Join/
    • In Band Interrupts (IBI)
