Silvaco’s affordable academic licensing options are enabling hundreds of educational institutions worldwide to use our tools. This empowers academics in their research, and enables thousands of Electrical Engineering students to familiarize themselves with industry-standard TCAD and EDA software.

Different license types are available for research and for teaching. Low cost licenses can be used for research, while curriculum packages make software available to an entire class with a single license.
