Gateway is a high performance hierarchical schematic editor with full editing capability, large capacity and fast schematic viewing. Gateway can be used in place of Cadence Virtuoso, Tanner S-Edit, Synopsys Custom Designer SE, Mentor Graphics Design Architect, Magma Titan SE and provides the following key features:

• Gateway is tightly integrated with the following simulators: SmartSpice, SmartSpiceRF, HSPICE, and SILOS
• Gateway is capable of generating netlists for SPICE, verilog, CDL (for Calibre), and for Expert schematic-driven-layout and Guardian LVS
• Imports designs from third-party schematic vendors Cadence Virtuoso, Tanner S-Edit, Synopsys Custom Designer SE, Mentor Graphics Design Architect, Magma Titan SE through the EDIF 200
• Node Probing feature traces net connectivity through all levels of hierarchy
• Integrated cross-probe feature for identifying and viewing devices and nets between schematic, layout, and LVS report
• DC bias and transient data display for currents and voltages throughout hierarchy
• Dynamic net highlighting provides fast visual recognition of connectivity to help eliminate design errors
• Automatically create symbol libraries ready for capture from SPICE subcircuit and verilog module definitions
• PDKs are available for leading foundry processes from TSMC, UMC, Jazz/TOWER, X-Fab, Austriamicrosystems, MOSIS, AMI and others
