TCAD Simulation Workshop hosted by Cambridge University
February 6th, 2002
Silvaco is delighted to announce a workshop program at Cambridge University. The one-day workshop is intended for users of Silvaco's TCAD Process and Device Simulation software suite. It will be hosted at Cambridge University on the 6th of March, 2002 and repeated on the 12th of March 2002. The workshop is free of charge to customers taking advantage of our support package.
You will be introduced to the operation of two of
our technology simulation
- ATHENA
- Silvaco's advanced one and two dimensional Process simulator.
- ATLAS
- Silvaco's versatile and modular one, two and three dimensional Device simulator.
- plus Interactive Tools Deckbuild, Tonyplot and Devedit will be fully explained.
The Workshop will take the following form
- Introduction - An introduction to the Interactive Toolset.
- Process Simulation - Covering the simulation of a simple LDD MOS process using ATHENA.
- Device Simulation - MOS transistor device simulation to extract device parameters.
- Free Time for Q and A - A number of Silvaco specialists will be on hand to answer any questions on Silvaco TCAD Tools.
- Conclusion.
Requirements: Any attendee should be familiar with the basic concepts of Silicon device processing and the basic operation of MOS transistors.
