Silvaco Releases Powerful New Schematic Editor

Silvaco International has released Scholar, its Schematic Capture and Editing tool for use in today's advanced IC Designs. Scholar boasts a flexible and easy to use front-end, providing complete functionality. A comprehensive nested library manager aids in organization and ease of file manipulation. Inputting deck statements are accomplished through the Scholar usage of a sophisticated GUI.

Through close coupling with Silvaco's SmartSpice simulator, Scholar can run SmartSpice simulations while simultaneously providing powerful back-annotation and cross-probing features. The software provides users with enhanced cross probing and a powerful new post-processing tool. Scholar also supports EDIF 2.0 files for a more flexible exchange of design data.
