Example 040_digital_display circuit is an analog to digital converter example. The netlist for this example includes a Verilog behavioral description of a comparator, a gate level description of an up-down counter and user defined primitive (UDP) descriptions of JK flip-flop and D flip-flops.

The SILOS graphical user interface provides a function to display analog signals as digital signals.

Analyzer - Digital display of analog signals

  • Open analog.spjx and run the simulation.
  • Open Analyzer window from the toolbar.
  • Select "feedback" analog signal and expand the analog waveform.
  • Select the signal again and click the right mouse button.
  • In the context menu that appears, select Display As Digital.
  • Enter 0.9 in the Threshold field and click OK.
  • The Analyzer window will display the threshold 0.9v digital display of the analog signals "(reg 0.9) feedback".
