Software Engineer - Placement and Routing Engineer

Hsinchu, Taiwan

Develop and support floor planner, placer, and router components of an advanced physical IC design tool. The engineer is expected to specify, design, implement, test and troubleshoot large and complex software systems developed by a small, committed engineer team.

Must have:

• MS or Ph.D in EE or CS with 3 years of related working experience is desired
• Minimum experience:
  • C/C++ programming (industrial experience with a large-scale software 3+ years in this area).
  • Data Structures and algorithm design
  • Work in Unix environment
  • Strong problem-solving and communications skills
  • Experience with graphic theory and algorithms in combinatorial optimization, computational geometry, placement, routing and floor planning is a plus, as well as hands-on experience or education in physical design tools
